Only few scorpions in the world are parthenogenetic. This means that a sexually mature scorpion can impregnate itself without the need of mating. There is a parthenogenetic Hottentotta species namely Hottentotta hottentotta. The following list contains all parthenogenetic scorpions in the world (that I know of)
