This is the safest way to remove any dirt, insect remains or molts. The scorpion is secure under the box and you can clean the cage without having to worry about being stung.

If you have to handle your scorpion (for example to move it to a bigger container) you can use this method. Take a small vial and a pair of tweezers. Gently persuade the scorpion to walk into the container, put a lid on it if needed and you can move it safely.

The last method is to hold the scorpions by its tail with a pair of tweezers. This is mostly used with breeding attempts or with communal setups. Make sure you hold the scorpion gently but firmly at the base of the tail (don't squeeze).
